About Helsa and its Services

 

Preventive Healthcare Nordic AB (Helsa) provides radiological and medical examinations in collaboration with subcontractors. Services are available to individuals and corporate clients, with reports including examination results, advice, and recommendations. Examinations can be booked via Helsa’s website, requiring a Swedish personal ID, phone number, and email. A referral is issued after completing a digital health form, and appointments are typically scheduled within 15 business days. Payment must be made before the examination.

Types of Services

Helsa offers preventive health screenings and targeted examinations for specific organs and body parts. However, Helsa does not treat existing illnesses or take responsibility for any conditions discovered through their examinations. These services are intended to complement traditional healthcare, not replace it.

Payments and Cancellations

Payments can be made by VISA or MasterCard, processed securely via NETS. Corporate clients may pay by invoice. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the appointment; otherwise, the full fee is charged. Late cancellations incur a fee, and missed appointments result in forfeited payments. The health form review process includes referral issuance, which carries a fee if canceled.

Right of Withdrawal and Refunds

Customers have a 14-day right of withdrawal, starting the day after the order is placed. However, once the health form is submitted, specific cancellation terms apply. Refunds are not provided if the referral expires after 30 days without the examination being completed.

Liability

Helsa is not responsible for diagnosing all potential health conditions and cannot guarantee the detection of every disease. The interpretation of results is the responsibility of their subcontractors. Helsa is only liable for damages in cases of negligence, as per applicable legislation.
